There’s something truly magical about a field full of poppies in peak bloom—and Juniper Creek Farm in Raleigh, NC delivered this spring! I photographed a stunning portrait session with Carri dressed in a gorgeous white dress that perfectly complemented the beautiful red poppies.

White and Red in the Poppy Field


I love the contrast of the clean styling against the red poppies. With the poppies in full bloom, we moved through the field and tried a variety of poses to keep the session fresh and creative. From standing among the blooms to twirling softly in the field, it was fun to play around!

Spring Poppies


The poppy field only stays in bloom for a few short weeks, so once they are gone, we won't see them until next year.
