Can I bring my pet to my photo session?

In the past I have been asked by my clioents if they can bring their pet(s) to the photo session. The short answer is yes! I love working with animals and am happy to incorporate them into the family photo! The only caveat is we need to consider the location. While most outdoor places I take my clients allow animals, there are a select few that do not. Once I know my client wants to bring their pet along for the session, we can then choose the best location for the family.

A few things to consider when bringing your pet along.

1. Most places still require them to be properly leashed.
2. Is your pet scared of people or high traffic areas? Maybe we need to consider a more secluded and quiet location.
3. Bring a favorite toy or treats to help motivate your pet to corporate.
4. Lean into the chaos. Your pet may not act his/her typical self in the unfamiliar environment so don't stress if they don't want to obey direction. We will work together to get everyone in place and posed as best as possible!
